On this page, and throughout the website, many if not most of the pictures and icons are "clickable". Some provide larger, more detailed versions of the pictures while others will direct you to entirely different pages covering a separate topic. "Hovering" the cursor over any of these items should provide some form of information as to what might be expected, or maybe not; you never know. I encourage you to experiment and see which of these items are hyperlinks and where they might take you. Life is a journey, not a destination...
Bozo, That's Mister Bozo to you ... Jacques of all trades... *8o) Rocky, The flying squirrel ... What more's to be said... C;^)
The way we were ... Racing soon at a racetrack in the Southeast near you ... or not ...
And then we were ...
And the way we are now ...
This is probably the most recent picture taken of us. Our friend Mike Jackson from West Palm Beach took this when we visited Sandy and him in March of 2016. A great picture, I thought..
Both Rocky and I have officially retired from Vintage racing and other forms of competitive motor sport to concentrate
on more sedate forms of entertainment and relaxation. My primary focus has become a reengagement with music and Rocky
is still seeking her "passion" through courses at the local college in a variety of crafts,
digital photography and other topics; she is still a voracious reader... Sadly, we now no longer have any pets but now
have the ability to begin our travel plans. This means we'll be contacting some of our friends about those invitations
to visit in the coming months and years - hope to get to see you all!
If you know us, you know ... no kids, no pets, soon no racecars ... just guitars and the dim glow from the iPad...
To those who raced with us, I apologize for the "old" picture above of Thelma, Louise and the "Blue Meanie"; as you know, Louise (the silver '67 911S) now lives in Texas and, from what I read in Victory Lane, is enjoying herself with her new family. The Blue Meanie (the blue 1966 911) was recently sold to a restorer of early 911s and can probably be found elsewhere on the internet using that name as a search variable. Thelma is still for sale and is with us awaiting a little clean-up and the right buyers who will take her back to the racetrack/course and drive her as she deserves (or restore her to original specs). Rocky's former ride, the Lola T-200/204, has been sold and should be competing in Vintage events in the Midwest... Personal pages for both Rocky and myself are available for those wishing to know more about us. Find out all those things you always wanted to know about us but were too afraid (or wise) to ask - this could change your life (or, perhaps, just the way you choose to look at it...)
New with this latest version is the for sale page listing various bits and pieces I no longer need...
In Memorium
On June 16, 2017 at 6:25pm, our beloved dog Strider left us after spending fourteen and a half years being our constant companion. He was a devoted family member and confidant to both of us and was undoubtedly my biggest fan! We are heart-broken but rejoice that his life was long (17 1/2 years) and full and that his suffering was short; he was a trooper to the end and will forever be in our hearts and memories. Farewell, dear Strider; be at peace and forever run free!
In loving memory of our dear, departed pet and constant companion (at least when I was in the garage or yard), Scooter. May you ever run free...
Your comments and suggestions are solicited and welcomed.
