1970 Lola T200/204 Formula Ford On Display Photos
After life as an SCCA club racer then hibernation and restoration as a Vintage race car, only to be retire yet again, Lizzie re-emerged when
the local British Pub decided to sponsor an annual car show for cars of all varieties (though British makes were preferred). This sounded
like a good excuse to dust off the Formula Ford and roll her out for others to enjoy. Pictures on this page are of that preparation and her
subsequent display, after which she was awarded the blue ribbon for "Best in Class - Race Cars". Not bad at all considering our spot was
right next to a pristine Jaguar XJ-220 and just down from Henry Grady's Tijeiro, also amazingly spotless. A GREAT day for us and Lizzie, to
be sure, and the perfect way to end her final day in the public eye...
This is the final stage of Lizzie in our ownership. She still sits ready for service under a new, caring owner who understands her lineage and wants to write another chapter of her history. Could that person be you?
