The Acoustics - 1976 Yamaha G-65A Classical Guitar

Rocky bought this guitar from her brother, John, back in the late 70s when he was upgrading to a steel-string guitar. The top has aged to a rich golden tone and the guitar itself remains in amazingly good condition. This was a relatively inexpensive guitar new and, as such, some facets of its construction might be a little better in terms of fit and finish. The tone, however is rich and full even if the wide (1 7/8") neck does take some getting used to...

The case used for this guitar is the original, chipboard case.
